Authority-Governed Execution for Heterogeneous Distributed Systems

AURORA™ — Autonomous Unified Risk-Oriented Response Architecture — separates what a machine can do from what it may do. BLOCK VECTOR has already demonstrated the governing architecture virtually; funded transition moves that proven architecture into customer-specific physical systems and mission environments.

BLOCK VECTOR has already proven the governing architecture virtually. Government funding transitions it into mission-specific physical systems.
24 proofs

Structured Phase-0 exercises with receipts, preserved evidence, and controlled end states.

Windows + Linux

Cross-platform execution demonstrated across heterogeneous virtual resources.

Separated

Capability declaration does not confer mission authority; authorization remains explicit and governed.

TRL 4

Integrated architecture validated in a laboratory environment; physical mission integration is the next transition step.

Demonstrated before customer funding.

AURORA Phase 0 established the generic authority/execution architecture before customer-specific integration. Selected results below illustrate the evidence base behind the transition proposition.

PROOF 000015

Disconnected authority contraction and reconciliation

Demonstrated permitted continuity, refusal, timing-conflict handling, recovery, and reconciliation during disconnected operation.

PROOF 000019–000020

Cross-platform executor loss and substitution

Preserved the same logical job through executor failure and moved execution to an eligible alternative resource.

PROOF 000022

Capability selector to five eligible targets

One selector resolved five eligible execution targets and returned 5/5 authenticated results.

PROOF 000024

Project-level autonomous management

Managed four concurrent jobs under one project directive with zero device-level commands after start, 21 autonomous decisions, and executor-loss reassignment.

Evidence posture: Formal proof records are supported by machine-readable receipts, authenticated results, SHA-256 evidence manifests, preserved attempt chains, and controlled end states. Additional proof material can be provided to Government reviewers and prospective partners on request.

The AURORA worker is the device boundary.

AURORA does not need to understand every downstream device protocol. The customer or OEM retains responsibility for the local control path. The AURORA-facing worker exposes authenticated capability information upward while mission authority determines whether that capability may be used.

What the local system CAN do

The worker advertises authenticated capability without granting permission to use it.

What the mission MAY do

AURORA evaluates current authority, policy, eligibility, and state before consequential execution.

How the device actually executes

CAN, serial, GPIO, Ethernet, vendor APIs, proprietary firmware, and other implementation details remain below the boundary.

What funding buys next.

Customer funding does not repeat the virtual feasibility work. It transitions the proven generic core into representative physical systems, mission interfaces, constrained networks, and customer-specific validation.

Distributed cyber defense and reconstitution

Transition focus: heterogeneous compute, intermittent authority, constrained communications, recovery/reconstitution, and provenance.

Governed capability sharing across mobile domains

Transition focus: tactical IP/MANET environments, mobile C2, compute, sensing, communications, maintenance, and substitution.

Heterogeneous shipboard computing and serviceability

Transition focus: legacy workload abstraction, hardware substitution, maintenance, and higher-level autonomous resource management.

Public first. Deeper evidence on request.

Public material establishes technical maturity, architectural boundaries, and mission fit. Program-specific briefs, selected proof records, receipts, and implementation detail can be prepared for active Government review when appropriate.

Publications & DOI Record

Published work on authority, refusal, resilience, evidence, and dependable autonomous systems.

Selected formal proof record

Proof summaries, measured outcomes, authenticated receipts, and evidence packages supporting demonstrated capabilities.

Mission-specific review package

Program-specific feasibility briefs and integration material can be prepared for active solicitations and technical exchanges.

Register for AURORA technical review.

Use the existing BLOCK VECTOR registration workflow to request evidence, a written technical exchange, mission-integration discussion, or program-specific material. Please do not submit classified, export-controlled, source-selection-sensitive, procurement-sensitive, or other restricted information through this public form.

AURORA Review Request

AURORA Phase-0 evidence establishes feasibility of the generic authority/execution architecture in laboratory environments. Mission-specific integration, platform qualification, customer acceptance, OEM certification, and field deployment are funded transition activities unless separately demonstrated.
